Taoyuan Airport’s Terminal 3 is the national gateway of Taiwan where visitors from all over the world are welcomed. BAF, with UNStudio and AYDesign, teamed up to design a new terminal by turning the front façade to welcome visitors, emphasizing the image of the national gateway for the welcome. The axis of the new terminal extends and connects MFB,T2, and T1. The road and airside configurations are efficient and cost effective, and the concept won second place in the competition.
