The Xinsheng Park III of the Taipei International Flower Expo is located in Xinsheng Park in Taipei City. The Keelung River blue belt in the north, Jianguo overpass and Xinsheng overpass in the east and west, and under the Songshan Airport airway, surrounded by elevated traffic and the city fringe with frequent flying noise.

The Xinsheng Park III includes the Dream Hall, the Future and Life Hall; the public service facilities in the whole district include the entrance welcome plaza, a central avenue, the central dining area, transportation transfer stations, temporary toilets and rest stations. Some temporary buildings are pending the end of the exhibition. The sustainable operation and use of the park can be restored so that it is more eco-friendly.

The entrance Plaza uses the thinning cedar of Taiwan’s main island afforestation to create a natural forest-like space, allowing visitors to stay or wait easily, changing their mood from the busy concrete jungle, to welcoming beautiful flower field. At the same time, the use of these cedar, bamboo, industrial paper tubes and floral fabrics from Taiwan will not only reduce carbon emissions caused by material processing and transportation, but also set a good example for the nearby industries.

In addition, green construction is the guiding principle of the design. Most of the structures are prefabricated in the factory and shipped to the site for assembly to reduce pollution to the construction of the base and the impact on the community. The use of concrete is also reduced, and steel piles are used as the foundation of the temporary building, which is composed of a detachable structure to facilitate future reuse; all temporary venues can be dismantled and recycled after the expo, and relocated. Assemble and reuse.
