TYPOLOGY
This design aims to expand the role of the Taipei Fine Arts Museum within the urban landscape by a comprehensive connection to the public. The Airwalk system, pedestrian bridge, connect the Yuanshan MRT station with the old and new museum buildings.
Multifunctional lobby is located at the core of the museum’s public area which act as a link of the Urban Showcase above ground and the Interior X-Site located both above and below ground. This layout ensures that public and restricted circulation are separated and independent. After the public opening hours, it can be used for banquets and various cultural related activities.
Commercial spaces are designed with separate back-of-house areas and dedicated delivery routes, ensuring efficient operations.
