TYPOLOGY
The design focuses on minimalist transportation functions with box-shaped forms, standing out in the busy urban landscape and offering a style distinct from existing station designs in Taiwan. The railway line flows through the Sanxing area like a river, linking local history with future industrial development. Each station narrates the story of local culture and industry, bridging the city’s past and future.
The station is designed to be lightweight, minimizing the visual impact of elevated structures while embodying the processes of local industries, aligning with the spirit of industrial innovation.
Standardized modular steel structures are prefabricated in factories and then transported and installed on-site, shortening construction time.
Porous materials provide a bright and spacious environment during the day, while at night, lighting changes and create different visual effects. The design enhances visual transparency and air circulation, with natural light reducing energy consumption for artificial lighting
