Goal and vision

In response to the country’s economic development pattern being transformed from an “efficiency economy” to an “innovative economy”, the Industrial Technology Research Institute has focused on international trends and industrial needs, linking upstream, midstream, and downstream enterprises with international advanced technological energies. Based on core technology, build an innovative R&D platform. Externally, it is expected to become a new landmark for innovative technology research and development and to nurture emerging industries, and internally it aims to become a service space that can provide support for research, and a public space that can enrich research ideas.

Increase the moving line system to improve driving efficiency

The main entrance and exit of the base are located on Guangfu Road. The increase in traffic volume during peak hours can easily cause traffic jams and relatively affect the entry and exit of the park. In order to effectively reduce the impact of traffic on the park, entrances and exits were added on Xuefu Road to improve the efficiency and safety considerations of employees and visitors.

Preservation of historical imagery and green assets

The Araucaria Avenue at the entrance of the site, the red brick wall on the south side of the site, and the cypress on the south side of the site are all historically significant landscape images of the site, so they are all preserved. In terms of building configuration, the design is aimed to preserve as much green assets as possible such as the big trees, continue the precious urban green walkways. Existing trees that cannot be avoided within the configuration range of the building and on the moving line are treated professionally and transplanted to the appropriate location in the open space or courtyard on the site, in order to minimize the impact of development.
