TYPOLOGY
In response to the Circular Economy Program and CPC’s commitment to promoting sustainability, BioArch proposed a design that integrates six principles: Regenerate, Healthy, Low Carbon, Sustainable, Circular, and Smart.
Two towers are arranged along the North-South axis, with a pond in the middle that connects to the historical building. On the north side, the historical plaza is preserved by setting back the building mass. On the northwest side, a colonnaded walkway is provided to ensure pedestrian-friendly access.
The north, west and south sides of the site are designated as industrial zones, which will be the focus of future development. In this design, the building on the west side is set back to create a plaza showcasing research and welcoming visitors while the south side provides space for leisurely walks and relaxation.
