This project is located at Qianzhen Fishing Port within Kaohsiung Harbor, bordered by the container terminals, mixed-use land, and Kaohsiung Harbor’s main channel. As Taiwan’s largest offshore fishing port, accommodating the largest fishing vessels and highest catch volumes, Qianzhen Fishing Port has over 50 years of history. With a well-developed surrounding industrial chain, its buildings and facilities require comprehensive planning to meet current needs.
The main construction area faces the Direct Sales Center to the west and overlooks the Fourth Container Terminal across Kaohsiung Harbor. To the east, it borders the “Old Ocean Affairs Bureau” and “Kaohsiung Fisheries Association” buildings. A future pedestrian landscape zone on the former Yu Gang East Second Road will guide visitors via escalators and elevators to the second-floor exhibition center and themed restaurants.
The Qianzhen Fishing Port Multifunctional Seafood Distribution Center will serve as a hub for fishery logistics and tourism, integrating wholesale, transportation, retail, dining, and recreational spaces. The design minimizes building height and maximizes landscape areas to enhance accessibility and tourism appeal. Gentle curved facades symbolize calm seas, reflecting the harbor’s unique identity.
