Inherited to the Beitou Library, hoping to use the amount of knowledge dissemination to unite the community in the park. The project “pavilion” is transformed into a “book pavilion”, becoming a catalyst for parents who accompany children to play with each other, and as a scholarly garden that can precipitate the souls for adults.
Water pipes are used as the main structure, and the space under the pavilion beams is used as two “book walls” to surround the pavilion to create a sense of wrapping without affecting the movement of the park. The detachability of the water pipe allows each component to be easily assembled, and it can also be erected in another place again after being disassembled.
“Book box” is a unit for storing books. The small space of 32*24*10 cm keeps the weight of the book box below the burden. A small number of books may come from a certain owner or a certain family, creating the “book box” as “my book box.”
