Taoyuan Asia Silicon Valley Innovation and R&D Center is located on the southwest side of Qingpu’s living area, about 17 minutes from Taoyuan Airport. It is connected to the whole country through the high-speed rail and airport MRT. The site is in close proximity to the Taoyuan Art Museum’s leisure and cultural venues, the National Yangming Chiao Tung University Smart Biomedical Park and it is within walking distance of Taoyuan International Convention and Exhibition Center and the Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium. The Asia Silicon Valley Innovation and R&D Center will link technology, art, cultural leisure and various exhibitions and business activities to become an innovative and smart park in Qingpu Village.
The design takes shape through the concept of aviation flight. The main axis is a runway in the park.This runway connects the R&D buildings in the whole site area. The cloud smart management center is used as the tower. its access is done from the north, south and central terminals park entrances. The innovative runway for communication and connection will become the first runway for Qingpu Smart Technology to “take off”, and it will also be an extension platform for technological development. All the surrounding open spaces will also provide high-quality, healthy and comfortable outdoor places to work or simply to enjoy, in order to create a working environment for innovative talents to live a healthy life in the post-epidemic era. This energy-saving and resilient smart park will encourage the exchange and coordination of technology, industry and academia, and create more flexible possibilities for the development of smart technology in the future.
The first phase of the park includes a service center building and a research and development centerbuilding. The service center building contains a comprehensive shopping mall, an exhibition hall, and a youth innovation center as a service center for mass activities. The big data center and urban energy management center on the top floor are the entire “brain” of the smart park; the R&D center building will be open to the outside world to rent. We expect more international talents to work and exchange in this high-quality environment. It is our hope that science and technology will “take off” here and talents’ dreams will come true, so that this innovative R&D center can have a diverse future.
