EXHIBITION｜Returning Home: 2024 International Architecture Triennial

For the first time in 400 years, Taiwanese architects collectively venture onto the international stage, presenting their work at a contemporary architectural landmark—the Sendai Mediatheque, designed by Toyo Ito! The exhibition features contributions from 40 groups of architects from across Taiwan, showcasing a total of 66 works.
In response to the theme “The Diverse Narratives of Home,” the exhibition organizes the works into eight genealogies of “home” based on their unique characteristics and attributes. These genealogies aim to explore the narrative dimensions of “home” in depth. Not only do they expand and advance the conceptual boundaries of “home,” but they also serve as reference frameworks and axes for interpretation and cross-referencing.
