EVENT ｜Earth Day : Restore Our Earth

Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EARTHDAY.ORG (formerly Earth Day Network) including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries.
The theme for Earth Day 2021 is “Restore Our Earth” and it focuses on natural processes and emerging green technologies that can restore the world’s ecosystems. In this way, the theme rejects the notion that mitigation or adaptation is the only way to address climate change.
This year, BaF calculated the office’s carbon emissions and pledged to reduce electricity and paper usage. In addition, on this day BaF’s colleagues increased the small garden by planting new seeds to help with carbon sequestration and biodiversity. #Grow your own vegetables.
