CONSTRUCTION | President Tsai attended the groundbreaking ceremony for X-Site

Taipei, Dec. 25 A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the first building in the Hsinchu Science Park X Saturday as the first step for the industrial park to create a new tech cluster in Taiwan.
Hsinchu Mayor Lin Chih-chien, President Tsai Ing-wen, Premier Su Tseng-chang, Minister of Science and Technology Wu Tsung-tsong, Democratic Progressive Party caucus whip Ker Chien-ming and others yesterday attend the groundbreaking ceremony.
The X-Site first building is to be completed in March 2024, and is expected to create 2,800 jobs.
