“Taichung Arena,” a collaboration between BaF and KKAA, held its groundbreaking ceremony today with the special presence of Kengo Kuma himself. Mayor Lu Hsiow-Yen remarked that this marks the final piece of the puzzle for Taichung’s three major indoor venues. It’s poised to meet the developmental needs of Taichung for the next century and stands as a proud landmark for Taiwan on the global stage.
The Taichung Arena, spanning 6.9 hectares, will feature a main stadium accommodating 15,500 spectators, a secondary stadium for 5,000, along with underground parking facilities, and commercial spaces.
